a conversation.
Every enquiry is read personally. There is no automated sales process — just a straightforward conversation about your child's situation and whether Open Horizons is the right fit.

The more context you can share, the more useful the first response will be. All fields marked ✦ are required.

Quick answers.
The most common questions asked before a first enquiry. More detailed answers about services and pricing are on the Services FAQ.
Completely fine — it is one of the most common things people say. Select "Not sure — need a recommendation" in the form, describe your child's situation, and the response will include a specific recommendation. There is no obligation attached to asking.
In most cases, a first session can be arranged within the same week as the initial enquiry. If your situation is time-sensitive — an upcoming assessment, for instance — please mention this in your message and scheduling will be prioritised accordingly.
Sessions are delivered fully online, so location within the UAE is not a barrier. Students outside the UAE are considered on a case-by-case basis — time zone compatibility and curriculum alignment are the main factors. Get in touch and this can be explored in the initial conversation.
Sessions use a digital whiteboard environment — interactive, real-time, and designed for one-to-one academic work rather than general video calling. Students need a stable internet connection and a device with a screen large enough to work comfortably. Full technical details are shared before the first session.
For younger students in KS1, a parent presence during the session is welcome and sometimes helpful. For older students, sessions are generally more effective when the student works independently — this builds the confidence and self-direction that is one of the core goals of the programme. Post-session progress notes and regular parent updates are provided as the structured alternative to observation.
